The Phases of Love Bombing Explained

Have you experienced being put on a pedestal in a relationship, then devalued with no warning, and eventually discarded?

Last week I shared 11 signs that you are being love bombed, but what is it and how does it happen?

Love bombing is an attempt to influence another person by showing extreme attention or affection. It’s used to manipulate and control someone, by controlling their emotions.

When we’re a victim of love bombing we think the other person really loves us, we feel great because of all the attention, and we get accustomed to the attention real quick. In the beginning, the victim is put on a pedestal. The pedestal phase is fun, enjoyable, and usually very different from anything the victim has experienced. The love bombing cycle is discussed thoroughly in this video, whether you’re in/on the pedestal phase, the devaluation phase or the discard phase, this video will help you to identify the reality of the situation.
