11) Don’t Forget To Have Fun!
“What is lovemaking if not fun? Don’t let the stress of getting pregnant come in the way of you having fun. The minute I stopped getting overly stressed thinking about our chances of getting pregnant and actually enjoying what we were doing between the sheets, everything worked out on its own.” ~ Nihala
10) Have An Avocado Every Day
“My nutritionist suggested drinking an avocado shake every day as they are healthy fats which contain vitamins and antioxidants. It has been my favorite drink and snack ever since. I believe avocados are what contributed to my reproductive health and improved my fertility. ” ~ Elena
9) Go Coconuts!
Not only did it help me get pregnant, but I also lost weight and it did wonders for my skin. The B-complex vitamins in them are essential if you are trying to conceive. Who knew something so simple as coconut water is all I needed to get pregnant and look and feel my best? ~ Ridhima
8) Lose Some Pounds If You Have To
“Yes, women who are on the heavier side do get pregnant. But if there’s been no luck so far, it’s time to start thinking about shedding a few kilos. I have always been a tad on the heavier side but never had any health issues all my life. But the minute both my partner and I started eating healthy food, things took a turn for the better. We cut down on junk food and takeouts and relied on home-cooked meals. For us, a mix of a healthy diet and active lifestyle did the trick in a few months.” ~ Ramya
7) Get Creative
“The best advice that helped me conceive was to get creative in the bed. Once we started trying different positions, it no longer felt like work. Yes, you heard that right. Doing the same thing over and over again can get tiring. And once you start to spice it up, you will start doing it more frequently, and not just during ovulation. And the more intercourse, the greater chances you will have on becoming pregnant.” ~ Sharamitha
6) Fertility Supplements
“We have been trying for a while, but to no avail. That’s when my husband and I decided to consult a doctor. After taking the supplements that our doctor prescribed, we got the happy news within 3 months.” ~ Naja
“Eating bananas every day helped. The hormone levels went back to normal and my periods were also back on track. My husband also started eating bananas as he read somewhere that it boosts sperm production. I am not sure if it’s the bananas or frequent intercourse, but I got pregnant soon after that. So if you too are trying to get pregnant, bananas are definitely worth a shot.” ~ Kamila
4) Get Enough Sleep
“Working the graveyard shift had messed up my hormones and diet. I was stressed and tired all the time, and barely had any energy left for intercourse. My doctor suggested either changing the job or requesting for a 9 to 5 day shift. Once I started getting enough sleep of 8 hours, I was able to follow a healthy lifestyle. My periods were back on track, and I was able to get pregnant soon.” ~ Arpita
3) Eat Greens
“Taking folic acid supplements and including green leafy vegetables in my diet improved my ovulation. I was addicted to foods such as kale, broccoli, spinach along with the supplements that were prescribed to me by the doctor.” ~ Jyotika
2) The Many Benefits Of Cod Liver Oil
“If you want to balance your hormones, improve your intimacy, and increase blood flow to the uterus and cervical area, include cod liver oil and fish in your diet. They are rich sources of vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids.” ~ Ananya
1) Start Working Out
“My husband and I loved swimming and jogging. We would try to maintain a regular workout routine no matter how busy we were. And since exercise also helped reduce stress, we were able to combat the stress that comes with trying to conceive. And it wasn’t long before we got the best news of our lives.” ~ Suzanne
If you and your partner have been trying to conceive for over a year, it’s best to consult your doctor.
