Want to give your home a warm fall scent, without chemical fragrance? These all natural fall scented wax tarts smell amazing,  and are simple to make! These wax melts are easy to make and can be used in any tart burner!

One of my favorite things about fall is the smells! When you’re outside you have the fresh crisp air, the smell of the leaves, rich woodsy and spicy. Inside you have delicious apple and pumpkin desserts, cinnamon, vanilla, all mixing in the air.

It’s amazing!!

I have always been a fan of candles and scented wax tarts, I love that they can fill your house with the wonderful scent of fall in just a little while and you can smell it all day long!

However, over the last few years I’ve been trying really hard to eliminate chemicals from our home and the fragrance that saturates most commercially made candles and tarts is chock full of yucky chemicals!

What’s a girl to do?

Well if you want something done right you’ve got to do it yourself right?

So I’ve taken matters into my own hands and whipped up these bad boys, and they do not disappoint.

These are all natural no yucky chemicals, full of amazing fall scent, and you can have them made in about 15 minutes, and as soon as they harden they’re ready to use! You can make them in various shapes and sizes, they would make a fantastic homemade gift!

Here’s what you’ll need for these fall scented wax tarts-

2- Cups Beeswax Pellets

30- Drops Clove Essential Oil

30- Drops Orange Essential Oil

(You can find my favorite resources for affordable essential oils here)

Silicone or paper muffin wrappers, or another silicone mold

Mason jar or double boiler for melting

Before you get started lay out your muffin wrappers or mold and have them ready for when your wax is melted and ready to go!

I highly recommend using a Mason jar for the melting of the beeswax, even reuse jar or can that’s been cleaned out, that way you can just pitch it when you are done- beeswax is a pain to clean up!

Place your jar or can in a pot of water, and pour your beeswax and coconut oil into it. Bring your water to a gentle boil.

Let your beeswax and coconut oil melt completely, I like to use a bamboo skewer to mix if needed… you can pitch it too! Once it’s nice and melted turn off the heat and add in your essential oils.

Now pour your wax into your mold or muffin wrappers. If you’re using muffin size molds fill them about 1/3 full.

You can use pretty festive wrappers if you want to give these as gifts, and just leave them for a lovely present.

You can let them cool at room temperature or if you want to speed the process up you can pop them in the fridge!  Once solid they’re ready to use!
